I saw this video of this couple social dancing in Tabarka, Tunisia a few weeks ago, and I thought they were so good! Their moves weren’t super fancy, but their styling was fantastic, cool, and just a bit flirtatious too…
A fierce salsa performance by the Bajari de Yamuleé team of Yamuleé Dance Company (New York)! Yamuleé doesn’t mess around: I think Bajari is only supposed to be their semi-pro team! Amazing!
The song is Abran Paso by Ismael Miranda and Larry Harlow off their 1972 album of the same name.
Today I learned something I never knew about webpage images on Stack Overflow: if the image is inline (which they are by default, without any extra CSS rules applied), then
it’s treated as text, which means a few extra pixels are added to the bottom as leading.

You know how LinkedIn will let you specify how you wish to be contacted by others? For example, “It’s okay to contact me about job offers”, or something along those lines? Well, Facebook could use something like that, because it can be really annoying to have event promoters spam your wall or inbox with their promotions.
Yes, I know that Facebook lets you control which people can post things to your wall. But I don’t want to block these people completely from posting to my wall. Maybe they want to share a funny video or a cool news article or something. I just don’t want to get spammed with their promotional material.
La Verdad (The Truth) is a 1974 salsa dura album by Javier Vazquez, with a number of great, catchy songs. Not only are they fun to listen to, most of them are also quite danceable (as you’ll see from their BPMs, they’re mid-tempo).
The album also has one of the coolest cover art, it’s very “gangsta” (I can’t show the album art here because of copyright
).
